Our client is seeking a Financial Services/Payroll Manager to sit in Chantilly, VA. This individual will be responsible for: Manage the team who processes end-to-end payroll processing utilizing payroll and HR systems (ADP Workforce Now and Workday) and accounts payable, utilizing Costpoint and NAV Provide leadership development to direct report(s) to optimize operational excellence and create experienced talent Develop and maintain relationships with HR, Accounting, and FP&A teams throughout the payroll and accounts payable cycles Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, working knowledge of payroll and accounts payable best practices and ensure compliance with internal policies Function as a strategic partner and contribute process improvement for system implementations/upgrades Create and maintain standard operating procedures and audits to ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to Maintain accurate records and prepare weekly/monthly/yearly reports Communicate well both verbally and in writing with all levels across the organization Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions Maintain an eye for detail; demonstrate accuracy, and exercise confidentiality & neutrality in complex and sensitive situations Resolve issues and answer payroll and accounts payable related questions Other business-related duties as assigned Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 per year annual salary.
