Summary: The Accounts Payable Clerk processes all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Matching invoices to receiving manifests Processing bills for payment Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and vendor statements Distribution of freight and product cost by lot Accounts Payable general duties (i.e., filing) Data entry and editing Performs other duties as assigned Education Requirements: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred but not required. Must have 3-5 years experience with A/P. Training, Skills, Licenses: Administrative experience is required. Must have excellent communication and organization skills. Type at least 45 wpm, Proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel, 10 Key Calculator & data entry skills. Minimum of 2 years in Automated Wholesale or Manufacturing Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, accuracy with figures and the ability to work efficiently and independently. WORKING CONDITIONS: This position is located in an office environment with moderate to low noise levels and is typically sedentary.
