Stone's Food Inc is an culinary and entertainment company supporting a variety of endeavors lead by Michelin starred chef Curtis Stone. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing accounting support to the Controller, verifying financial records and transactions, analyzing cash flow, reconciling and processing invoices, expense reimbursements, credit card and bank transactions. The ideal candidate should have a drive and desire to learn while supporting the successful growth of the company. Senior Accountant Job Responsibilities: · Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities · Prepare monthly closing journal entries and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts · Oversee AP and AR · Manage monthly reconciliation schedules, such as, but not limited to fixed asset and accrued liabilities ledgers · Prepare monthly bank reconciliations · Prepare variance analysis reports · Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly taxes · Work with staff accountant and other departments as needed to resolve issues · Protect organization’s value and certain payable information by keeping information confidential · Support and consult company’s personnel on accounting control procedures · Other ad hoc reporting and tasks as required by Controller and Senior Management Senior Accountant Requirements and Qualifications: · 3+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant, restaurant industry preferred · Bachelor’s degree in accounting · Proficient knowledge of Excel is required, QuickBooks experience is preferred · Exceptional knowledge of accounting, finance, cost accounting, cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) · Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Interpersonal sensitivity and ability to maintain confidentiality within the organization with a high level of personal ethics · Attention to detail, thoroughness, and organization · Achieve accuracy and meet assigned deadlines · High adaptability to changing needs · High level of dependability without supervision, confident working independently · Team player and able to assist members of the team as questions arise More detail about Stone's Food, Inc. part of Stone Food, Inc., please visit https://culinaryagents.com/entities/313311-stones-food-inc
