Job summary We are seeking an Account Director to join our team with the goal of helping our clients strategize, manage and execute creative and compelling deliverables. This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs. What you'll do: New businessParticipates in new business opportunities (with other department leads) Spearheads the creation of proposals/SOWs in response to client inquiries for new businessClient servicesEffectively anticipates client needs; acts on solutions with proper planning, informing, and delegation. Examples may include but are not limited to: Develops/informs thorough agendas with account team that help all stakeholders achieve the goals of each meeting Alerts clients to watchouts in a supportive, informative manner Plans annual and quarterly financial forecasts for each account owned/managed with minimal direction from Supervisor. Translates client business plans into actionable proposals and financial goals for the agency organization Clearly organizes and distinguishes plan(s) by client, therapeutic area/brand, project/tactic, fee, and milestone. Examples may include but are not limited to: Develops 1H / 2H strategic business plans that can be verbally or formally approved by client with minimal direction from Supervisor. Works in proactive partnership with PM to define metrics that inform said plans Responds to changes in client budgets/scopes confidently––making concise, profitable proposals for retaining, pivoting, and/or releasing fee(s) back to client when applicable Provides information and/or updates to finance lead that might impact any revenue recognition during semi-monthly finance meetings Regularly evaluates team performance with minimal direction from Supervisor Effectively trains reports with proper onboarding to the business, helping them to acclimate through shadowing and applicable/tangible work experience Checks-in with reports to understand their personal career goals and identifies opportunities/access to help them achieve Notifies Supervisor when their report is making above-average progress and works through appropriate channels to recognize those contributions and accomplishmentsCollaboration & teamworkEffectively collaborates with members across the entire team to succeed Navigates company protocols & procedures effectivelyThis position is a perfect fit for you if: Our Company values –Best Together, Impact-Obsessed, Excellence Expected, Evolve AlwaysandAccountability with an “I”– really speak to you. What you should have: A minimum of 6 years of experience in an account management/client facing role within an agency setting working with pharma and biotech clients. Experience cross collaborating with other teams (i.e. production, scientific strategy, and project managers) to execute deliverables for clients. Strong organizational, written, and verbal skills. Proven experience with Microsoft Office to produce client materials. Pay Range:$115,000 - $135,000 This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
