The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at East Carolina University Brody School Medicine and the East Carolina Heart Institute seeks a Vascular Surgeon to join our department at the at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. A fixed term or tenure track position is available.The faculty position will perform inpatient and outpatient clinical services and surgical procedures relating to vascular surgery. This position will consist of high clinical volumes of arterial and venous pathology and be involved in training General Surgery residents and two Vascular Surgery fellows yearly. Candidates must have, or be eligible, for a North Carolina medical license. Qualified candidates will be Board eligible or Board certified in Vascular Surgery. The Clinical sections represented in Cardiovascular Diseases include: Structural Heart Disease, Electrophysiology and Arrhythmias, Heart Failure, Primary and Secondary Prevention and Vascular Diseases. The Department is comprised of 30 MD and PhD faculty members, 16 Fellows, 2 Residents, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Cardiovascular Sciences Technicians.
