Chemistry - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (23006624) Manages graduate program operations and assists with enrollment functions for assigned college, campus, or department. Coordinates training and development for faculty and advisers and provides academic advising to assigned students. Coordinates research within the department as well as recruitment activities.The University of Pittsburgh's Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences Chemistry Department is seeking an Academic Operations Manager who is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of all academic support operations within the Chemistry Department in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. The incumbent will be a key administrative leader within the unit, responsible for supervising and training all academic operations staff, and serving as the unit's advisor to both internal and external contacts in relation to academic affairs. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that tasks such as course scheduling, teaching assignments, book orders, faculty recruitment, faculty onboarding, faculty promotion, faculty contract renewals, ancillary and summer budget preparation and submission, and other academic-related duties are completed on time and in the most efficient manner within the unit.
