Job Title: Academic Alliance Partnership Coordinator Department: Talent Acquisition Shift: 1st Specialty: Job Number: 2023-3342 Date Posted: 09/07/2023 Position Type: *Job Qualifications:* Academic Alliance Partnership Coordinator Job Summary: The Rush University Academic Alliance and Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of clinical placements for community students with RUSH. The position will report to the Talent Acquisition/Workforce Development function. The position will be responsible for creating relationships to place students in clinical experiences that will eventually lead to permanent employment relationships. This role manages communication with students, clinical instructors, and clinical partners during all phases of the clinical placement process and maintains clinical site onboarding requirements using required databases for tracking completion of documentation. The role will demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering collaboration and building relationships within healthcare systems and with external and internal partners. This is a fully grant-funded position. Job Responsibilities: Manages administrative activities associated with clinical placements. Submits and tracks requests to clinical sites and preceptors. Partners with contracting team to track affiliation agreement progress as new contracts are created and existing ones renewed. Prepares documents to be sent to clinical agencies. Monitors student and instructor document submission Research perspective departmental preceptors within RUSH clinical areas Collaborates with Assistant Deans and Program Directors on planning and execution of clinical experiences and student placements. Manages communication with students, clinical instructors, and clinical partners during all phases of the clinical placement process. Serves as a liaison between clinical and affiliated programs regarding the administrative and operating requirements of the clinical academic programs. Maintains clinical site onboarding requirements using required databases for tracking completion of documentation. Advises staff and faculty directors on changes in agency requirements. Manages the data entry and update of clinical site, clinical partner and clinical instructor contact information and other details. In collaboration with academic partners and department liaisons, assist in monitoring student compliance in accordance with pre-clinical requirements. Prepares reports as assigned. Evaluate program satisfaction and efficacy. Coordinates preceptor and partner appreciation and recognition activities Leverages multiple sourcing and communication mediums (e.g. various social media platforms) to connect and expand the preceptor communities Assumes other responsibilities as designated. Assists with events and special projects. Required Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Higher Education or related field, required. Master's degree preferred 2 or more years' related experience Strong organization skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with individuals, groups and independently Strong commitment to foster collaboration and build relationships within healthcare systems and with external and internal partners Strength and experience in team-building and maintaining business relationships Strong technology skills required, advanced excel skills preferred.
