ABAP S/4 HANA Consultant - Manager

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP S/4HANA Consultant who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops. Role:SAP ABAP Job Level: Manager - Consultant Location:Hybrid role will need to work at customer site in Austin, Texas Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Role Summary: SAP ABAP developer is responsible for designing and creating software programs and applications through the SAP and ABAP programming codes. Role Responsibilities: Will work on SAP Improvement technologies including Classical enhancements, BADI, BTE and new Improvement framework; Enhancement pack/Upgrade implementation; SPAU and SPDD resolution. Develop object oriented and classical programs in ABAP including Reports, Smart forms/SAP Scripts, Web-dynpro and IDOC Processing. Will work on SAP interfaces and Integration using ALE/IDOC, Flat File, RFC, BAPI, Web-Services. Minimum Qualifications: Overall 8+ years of SAP development experience. 2 to 3 years of S/4 HANA Remediation experience is must. Must have academic knowledge and professional experience with: developing Object oriented and classical programs in ABAP Reports, Smart forms/SAP Scripts, Webdynpro and IDOC Processing; Modifying and solve interfaces using ALE/IDOC, Flat File, RFC, BAPI etc. Must have building custom ABAP WebDynpro applications and integrating with Portal. Good understanding on CDS Views and HANA artifacts like AMDP procedures / Functions. Working Experience on building custom ABAP applications using OData Services and integrating with Portal. Should have clear understanding on SAP LUWs, Performance Tuning Tools and standard methodologies. Experience in building custom FPM, and POWL applications. Experience in both Web Service as well as OData services.
