The flexibility to work 100% remotely.
During the busy season, expect 55-65 working hours per week. Only very rarely will the hours extend to 65 and for only 2-3 weeks. The off-season consists of a more relaxed 37-40 hours per week.
We are looking to expand our team with a seasoned Tax Supervisor who brings a minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting. This role calls for a professional who understands the nuances of tax regulations, remains updated with the latest tax laws, and is passionate about delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Preparing and reviewing complex federal and state income tax returns for businesses and HNW individuals.
Offering innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise.
Assisting in the execution and management of tax strategies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Researching and staying informed about changes in tax law and policy.
Handling client relationships, ensuring customer service excellence, and participating in business development activities.
Mentoring and supporting the professional growth of junior staff members.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or CPA is preferred.
A minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience with a focus on taxation, and 2 years of supervisory or management experience within a public accounting firm.
Proven ability to prepare and review complex tax returns.
Demonstrated knowledge of tax compliance, planning, and strategy for businesses and HNW individuals.
Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
Proficient in using tax software and technology.
Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
