Ensure mine operations activities are carried out within company policy, customer needs, and the statutory requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Mines and Environmental Regulations.
Review and administer HR company policies and benefit plans, recommending / administering progressive as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet critical deadlines. Ability to quickly develop strong internal working relationships.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to create and implement industry leading solutions.
Develops Total Rewards philosophy and supporting policies and practices.
Ensures the mine is operated in safe, efficient, and fiscally responsible manner.
Supervise all personnel assigned to them on shift, including assignment of duties, evaluation of performance, training and recommendation for training.
Oversees the management of mine accounting and develops policies and processes to ensure timely, accurate and complete financial information for the mines.
Collaboration with stakeholders and teammates and work autonomously to complete deliverable in-line with IA standards. Research complex issues, benchmark data, analyze, and recommend solutions.
Manage co-sourced IA relationships to ensure service-level agreements are met and quality services are rendered in adherence to the budget.
Provide direction to Foremen and Superintendents to ensure operations and maintenance of all equipment are well coordinated to avoid unnecessary downtime and delay.
