Duties assigned to this position will require an in-depth knowledge of a specialized field, process, and discipline and may involve organizing and implementing complex research plans, the development of methods of research, testing and data collection, analysis and evaluation, and writing reports containing descriptive, analytical, and evaluative content.
Evaluate patients, based on medical training and/or specialty, to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan.
The Cardiovascular Disease Fellow assists with admissions, consultations, evaluations, diagnosis of patients. Participate in structured programs to develop skills in all six of the general competencies as outlined by the ACGME.
The Clinical Pharmacist possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements and provide pharmaceutical care based on those needs.
Understanding and interpreting research protocols and procedures; participating in the publication of significant results to include authorship of scientific monographs; advancing expertise through continued education, training and/or research.
The Postdoctoral Associate supports research activities at the University, under the supervision of a principal investigator or program director, in order to advance their knowledge and/or be documented by scientific publications.
Prepare and maintain a master plan of funding priorities, in conjunction with above - mentioned leadership and staff. Determine fundable projects and package them appropriately for consideration by donors.
Provide primary care to students at the Coral Gables campus, Student Health Service. Serve as a consultant and supervising physician to the other Health Service professional staff members, including Nurse Practitioners.
