The VP of Product Management will be responsible for building and leading product teams while managing overall product development. As the VP of Product Management, you will lead by developing objectives and driving overall product execution, plans, and solutions, including but not limited to strategic development and tactical execution of the company's product roadmap and plan.
Review and direct the work of staff, effectively manage resources to create career growth opportunities and backup coverage. Develop organizational and individual goals for staff, and provide support and guidance for the team's professional growth.
The position is responsible for managing a team of financial staff with direct responsibility for client Funding and Pre-Funding activities, including invoicing and settlement for WageWorks core Health Care and Commuter businesses and products.
This position will also provide leadership and direction for a team of Client Services professionals with responsibility for attending to all aspects of the customer relationship at the employer level.
Manages the payroll function, which includes defining payroll administration policies, procedures, and goals. This includes maintaining and applying current internal control standards to ensure regulatory compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other federal and state regulations. Modifies or makes changes in policies or procedures when necessary to ensure processes and operations meet the standards set forth.
Develop and manage the Credit Policy and Procedures and provide leadership and guidance in their application, while working effectively with Sales, VP Shared Services, and VP Finance to obtain credit limit approvals prior to master data set up in the ERP system.
This position typically performs work at the central headquarters and reports to a VP level with product management responsibility. At times, this position will work closely in a team environment to participate in and facilitate product planning and management activities.
Provide direction to the Financial Operations team, establishing major functional roles, courses of action and tactical programs that are aligned with strategic long-term division objectives. Provides leadership in the definition and establishment of standards, internal control mechanisms, key performance measures and standard operating procedures. Represents and communicates this approach to the Financial Operations management and staff.
Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization.
Provide ongoing communications, updates and change management to key internal stakeholders for collaborative projects. Methods may include monthly email newsletter, weekly Client Ops calls, quarterly webinars, participation in One WageWorks initiative and/or onboarding webinars.
Manages evolving client expectations, needs and priorities, and collaborates with client services, service delivery, sales and information technology teams to ensure effective integration with consulting and service delivery capabilities and priorities.
Develops project specifications and objectives from initiation to delivery for projects of moderate to escalated complexity. This entails interfacing with internal and external partners to define scope of efforts required to meet objectives, develop comprehensive and predictable project schedules, and analyzing, reviewing and forecasting resource requirements.
1. Participate and lead deep dive of process and document gap analyses related to billing operations; gain understanding and application of best practices; play a hands-on role in proposing and testing solutions and be a thought leader resource to support integration of billing transaction flows.
Directs, defines and establishes operational processes, controls and review mechanisms. This includes the review and analysis of activity and business reports to evaluate performance. Works closely with internal and external legal and compliance resources.
