  • Can you knit? These ladies from the group, Berryville Treasures, have perfected newborn hats for the American Heart Association's #littlehatsbighearts. A campaign to raise awareness of congenital heart defects and to inspire families to be heart healthy, these hats will be given to newborns born during the month of February. More information on how you can become a knitter or donate items can be found by visiting http://bit.ly/2zB35Ah.
  • Kudos to Rachel Gordon, RN, Coding/Chart Review specialist for Northern WV Home Health! She has one of the most impactful jobs since she reviews every chart for every patient to ensure that it is correct, certifying that purposeful care is given to over 200 new patients per month. She also helps employees, including nurses, occupational, physical and speech therapists, understand OASIS (universal data collection tool) and their role in assessing the patient and documenting findings accurately and timely to ensure appropriate outcomes. Thank you, Rachel, for a job well done!
