Our university is looking for a qualified applicants for a position as Postdoctoral Fellow; the qualified applicants should have expertise in the area of small-angle neutron scattering, neutron spectroscopy, gels, neutron reflectometry, supramolecular chemistry and related areas.
This position will provide services through our methadone assisted treatment program, addictions IOP, inpatient, outpatient and residential programs; the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help design and plan the future of these programs, while working with other addiction professionals, as well as clinicians in other psychiatric specialties.
The project will include isolation of human renal cancer cells using flow cytometry, generation of organoids and mouse xenograft assays, as well as analysis of molecular and metabolomics signatures. The Research Scholar will work within a team of PhD/MD researchers with expertise in renal cancer, cancer stem cells, metabolomics and bioinformatics.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to conduct meaningful clinical and translational research in stress and anxiety-related disorders and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including basic scientists.
