There are many lawn care products to choose from when deciding what product you want apply to your lawn that it can be overwhelming. When shopping for fertilizer, its important to not just purchase the largest, most expensive, or cheapest bag but instead its important to find the product with the highest quality instead. Granular fertilizers that are uniform in size, less dusty and use top of the line technology will optimize your lawns health and strength while helping your pocket out in the long run. But how do you tell if the quality of the fertilizer is good? Its easy, the value of the product is printed right on the label in three numbers called the N-P-K, representing Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium(potash), the macronutrients important to feeding your lawn. These three numbers signify the designated percentage of nutrients per bag. If the bag reads 20-5-10 it is simply saying that the fertilizer blend is made up of 20% nitrogen, 5% phosphate and 10% potassium. Furthermore, look at the back of the label to determine what each product does, how long it remains active and the different types of technologies within each product. . .
