Responsible for the day to day processes of the following departments: financial reporting, budgeting, revenue recognition, fixed assets, cash management, payroll, tax return preparation, financial audits, overhead audits, employee benefit plan audits and project cost audits.
Plans and develops engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation, and development of novel concepts and approaches.

Preferred experience includes having established working relationships with SCDOT personnel and previous SCDOT project experience that would include interstate widening and interchange design projects, large complex project experience, roadway widening projects, and bridge replacement projects.
Individual will have full managerial responsibility for all aspects of the project including scope development, contract negotiations, cost control, staff management, quality control on large and multiple transportation projects.
Actively manage TranSystems' budget and schedule, project communications and documentation including all aspects of the project including scope development, contract negotiations, staff management on large and multiple transportation projects.
Applicants must possess strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to travel for projects site visits, and to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects. The candidate will also assist in the development of the project understanding and technical approach associated with the preparation of bridge proposals.
Prepares or preferably directs; 1) preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for difficult projects. 2) Construction management tasks.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), and experience with engineering design packages such as AutoCAD (required), MicroStation (desirable), Staad.Pro, MathCAD, LUSAS and/or other structural analysis software systems.
Develop, monitor and ensure compliance of company policies and procedures according to federal and state laws and regulations. Address grievances and identify solutions to resolve workplace problems and participate in coaching, disciplining, and termination decisions.
