Ownership of the technical relationship with customers by providing consistent and expert technical support, across the Timken portfolio of products and service, additional expertise in areas required for assigned customers when necessary.
This role works with external customers to solve application problems. This includes translating customer needs into new applications for bearings and related products, modeling of customer applications, and occasional on-site or remote, real-time application problem-solving with external customers.
This position leverages strong commercial and technical skills and industry experience to recognize customer needs and apply Timken capabilities and technology across the full portfolio of products and services.
This include assisting the leadership group by consulting and solving various associate issues, recruiting highly skilled human resources, meeting and maintaining regulatory compliance requirements, and developing policies and practices that complement business and associate needs.
Leading the creation and maintenance of a 5-year roadmap of manufacturing technology R&D tactics that are aligned with the company's overall strategy and that deliver value across multiple time horizon periods.
