Provide ad hoc support for other areas of financial research and engineering, including defining systems requirements; assist internal customers with improving performance and scalability of their existing solutions.
Participate in model risk governance and model quality assurance activities for models and related applications; lead in the development of model project plans, business requirements and business cases by assisting model users and owners.
Work on the development of a large-scale Oracle database, with an ETL setup using Informatica; develop a Redshift reporting layer for deployment on the cloud, with real-time data transfer between Oracle and AWS.
Determine systems requirements and functionalities needed in large/complex development project; contribute to all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) for financial modeling application components and systems.
Create and maintain test plans that define test objectives, methods and tools to be employed for the assigned project; review and validate design specifications to ensure requirements traceability and to determine application/component functional readiness requirements.
Formulate and define business transformation objectives through research and fact-finding; prepare and deliver status reporting in areas such as metrics, staffing statistics, resource tracking, unit progress, issue tracking, and staff meetings.
