maintain laboratory equipment in good order and accurate records on all experiments; keep accurate records of isotope usage as mandated by the Radiation Safety Officer, and maintain radiation safety in the laboratory; assist the Principal Investigator with writing manuscripts, research papers and grants and supervise junior researchers. The Assistant Director will oversee various financial and operational activities of the unit to insure that the unit functions efficiently and up to expectations. The incumbent will perform a variety of accounting tasks, including account reconciliations and related reviews, and perform financial analysis in support of financial reporting.
Experience developing and implementing master plans, capital projects, preventive maintenance programs, housekeeping standards, sustainability, emergency preparedness, and building strong customer services culture. Experience supervising in a union work environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
The DoD will be responsible to secure gifts that will directly impact students and patients we serve, and will support the faculty and staff in their mission of service. This position will require extensive travel to meet with alumni individually and in groups. Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities within this role include serving as the coordinator of the diamond leadership program and the program coordinator for the leadershape institute, and leading graduate externs and undergraduate interns in the strategic planning and execution of the unit.
