We have always believed the support and strength of our employees are imperative to our success. Toward this, we have established strong employee programs and support for a wide range of labour pool development initiatives. We feel this focus will also enhance attraction and retention rates, and build an organization of proud and motivated employees. As well, we prefer to hire from within the local Wood Buffalo region whenever possible. #SyncrudeProud #oilsands #ymm #rmwb

Reclamation is growing at Syncrude with the planting of nearly 400,000 new trees and shrubs in May. Over the course of several days, a team of about 30 tree planters from Little Smokey Forestry Services covered roughly 68 hectares of upland surrounding the Sandhill Fen and Kingfisher reclamation areas in the northeast section of our former East Mine. You can see some of this reclamation from Highway 63 as you approach our Mildred Lake site. Click the link in our bio to learn more. #oilsands #reclamation #treeplanting #fortmcmurray #ymm
