Analyzes institutional and professional cost and revenue data, market share data and clinical volume data to evaluate and project potential performance and risk associated with multi-year business plans for new or expanding business development plans.
The pharmacy resident has the day-to-day professional practice responsibilities for assigned patient care, drug information, or administrative areas. This position ensures the accurate, efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care services to patients by ensuring compliance with all applicable state/federal laws/regulations and professional practice standards.
Ability to collect and record data, evaluate data and statistics, and maintain effective reporting systems; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines.
Evaluates data, makes judgments, and recommendations regarding quality improvement work, including but not limited to resource utilization, physician practice patterns, and clinical pathway effectiveness; coordinates development and preparation of quality report cards/scorecards.
Responsible for the development of an integrated enterprise-wide patient and family education initiatives; oversees ongoing evaluation and refinement of programs; leads the initiative to convert all written self-management materials to an e-learning format.
Participates in the hospital's quality improvement program; collaborates in setting unit standards of care and monitors indicators of quality; provides direct patient care using consistency in assessing current patient care situations, priorities, and needs; provides safety, comfort care, and treatment of patients according to established legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
Collaborates with operational leadership and manages process improvement projects that support ambulatory services; coordinates with department staff to develop regular quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports to performance to plan and oversee the production and distribution of these reports.
Builds and leverages relationship with key technology partners/vendors; develops application and associated infrastructure architectures, collaborates with the service providers to ensure their proper implementation; establish baseline, ensure completeness of documentation.
Providing all aspects of design, planning, configuration, reporting, deployment and day to day operations of messaging infrastructure technologies; optimizing the stability and reliability of the technology's performance; implementing new and additional technologies that will improve the infrastructure.
Provides configuration management and accurately assesses the impact of modifications and vulnerabilities for each information security system; manages annual fiscal planning and budgets for the infrastructure group.
Develops, maintains, and enforces device securities and policies for our customers; performing ongoing monitoring of device security and policies, help ensure security compliance; troubleshoots system problems/issues and looks for ways to improve applications.
Implementing new and additional technologies that will improve the infrastructure; working with managers to develop standards in line with the company guidelines and monitoring those standards; assisting with the resolution of escalated issues and actively participating in problem management activities.
