Applies the Enterprise Architecture methodology to LPCH application infrastructure.Develops application and associated infrastructure architectures, collaborates with the service providers to ensure their proper implementation.
Responsible for the development of proposed system design and interface specifications based on identified business needs using structured analytical techniques, employing technical and specific business knowledge.
Improves responsiveness and relations with all customers, including patients and their families, faculty and community physicians, other participating providers, affiliated health plans, staff, regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Researches and investigates problems, diagnose and provide resolution or viable solutions for hardware and software issues; appropriately escalating and reporting recommendations clearly and effectively to management and team.
Develops solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication. Assists with the implementation of new or additional storage technology to improve infrastructure service locally and remotely.
Collaborates with LPCH/SHC/SoM professionals to design and implement clinical research projects with adherence to standard policy and procedure and actively participates in research study design, survey methodology, data analysis and results reporting.
Represents the technology team in new facility construction and growth, and drives the technology requirements for Design and Construction as well as the coordination of Information Services, ITSS, Clinical Engineering, Security and other major technology consumer.
Direct the training of new employees and ensure ongoing training of all staff. Conduct performance appraisal reviews and routine assessment of staff competency providing timely and appropriate feedback. Take appropriate organization, system and personnel actions as necessary.
