Johnny Cash famously wrote about Irelands stunning landscapes in 40 Shades of Green, and there certainly isnt any shortage of greenery on the island. The countrys southwest region, with rolling hills and green pastures, particularly lives up to its Emerald Isle name. The Lakes of Killarney are a must-see, as our charming towns such as Adare and Kinsale. # by contributors Matteo Provendola, walshphotos, LPuddori, James_Fraser, Anastasia Myasnikova . . . #ireland #nature #landscape #seascape #emeraldisle #outdoors #landscape_lovers #instanature #instaireland #discoverireland

Pripyat is a deserted city in northern Ukraine. It was founded in 1970, eventually grew to a population of nearly 50,000 residents and was the ninth largest nuclear city in the Soviet Union, until being evacuated on April 27th, 1986. The city was built to serve the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant which is now infamous for the Chernobyl disaster. On April 26th, 1986 the plant suffered a massive nuclear accident, one of only two worldwide that is classified with the maximum level 7 classification, and forced mass evacuations from the now empty city. The amusement park, and more specifically its ferris wheel, are a popular destination for photographers seeking to capture the emptiness of the once bustling city decades after it was last occupied by residents.
