Provide engineering and design direction to CAD designers for Shiloh components and lead design feasibility studies.
Analyze the strong link between the plant's business plan and forecast vs. actual results in order to quickly identify problem areas.
Gathers information to evaluate current work processes in order to determine the flow of work, time requirements, costs and duration.
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, controls, devices, and systems to improve overall productivity, safety in line with continuous improvement systems.
Determines tooling, process, and equipment capabilities. Specifies repairs, revisions, and maintenance schedules for tooling and equipment.
Ability to work overtime
Manage all aspects of new customer programs and other assigned projects/programs to deliver a quality product on time and on budget.
Leads Approved STIR projects to completion
Technical project management (timing, budgets, communications)Leads technical reviews
Coordinates all activities related to procurement of capital equipment and facilities requirements beginning with intent to purchase through delivery
Analyze work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
Drive results for plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, cost, delivery, absenteeism, training, compliance, on-time program launch, communications, etc.
Work together with the Plant Manager and site support team to achieve optimum Safety, Quality and Delivery results and expectations.Complete Leader Standard Work and all deliverable of value stream.
Develops, plans and trains all employees in matters of safety/environmental, regulatory required training and recommending advanced training by external sources when appropriate.
