  • The Santa Clara County Vector Control District will conduct fogging to suppress West Nile virus-carrying mosquitoes in areas of San Jose and Milpitas. According to the Vector Control District, adult mosquitoes collected from the 95035 and 95132 ZIP code areas of the cities of Milpitas and San Jos have tested positive for West Nile virus (WNV). Weather permitting, the ground fogging operations are scheduled for 11 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31 and will finish a few hours later.
