  • For many girls in our program, finding emotional support for school isnt easy. Born in in low-income communities, girls are expected to support the family over their education. To show parents the importance of educating their daughters, Room to Read holds regular community advocacy meetings. Noi, a mother in Vietnam, has experienced the power of these first hand.   • This week were celebrating supporting 50,000 girls through secondary school! Life skills make up a large portion of our Girls Education Program. These regular sessions, taught by social mobilizers, focus on topics ranging from career planning to personal health, cultivating confidence, communication skills, critical thinking and stress management. Help us celebrate on Nov. 2, 8:15 a.m. GMT via Facebook live!
