Meet Stephanie and Whitney. Not long before this photo was shot, there was a wall between them and the photographer. Theyre enjoying their new, expanded office space. Stephanie was even pointing out where shed like to hot tub to be. But, alas, the extra space is just temporary. Were clearing out part of their area to build a new, larger NexStation lab. Like our current lab well evaluate IEC-61850 components. In addition, well be able to design, test, and demonstrate control systems for substations and microgrids as well as train clients and engineers. Well keep you updated as the new lab progresses. In the meantime, check http://www.powereng.com/our-services/power-delivery/nexstation/ for more information about NexStation

We have a team of 18 people participating in the American Lung Association and American Lung Association in Idaho Fight For Air Climb this weekend. Just how many many vertical feet will they climb? 26,995, or 5.11 miles. Need perspective? Mt Everest (far right) is 29,029'. Chimborazo in Ecuador is slightly over 20,500', and Mauna Kea rises 13,796' from sea level. What's that tiny red object? NY's Freedom Tower, at 1,776'! Last year the team finished 3rd overall for funds raised. We wish them well again this year!

Our annual Power Delivery Design Conference wrapped up last night. The conference is a fantastic forum for peers in the energy industry to share ideas and learn from each other. Of course, because it's in Sun Valley, there are also many opportunities to enjoy some beautiful scenery with great friends. Here's a picture that Margaret from our Boston office sent us. We know that the group is a mix of POWER people and clients, and that everyone had a fun and safe excursion. As for who's who? That's a little tougher. Were you at #PDDC2017? Post your pictures in the comments section.
