Whats interesting for me is to witness what remains after the progress has ground to a halt - #DanilaTkachenko. This is one detail of a triptych of three abandoned #Soviet building projects that the artist photographed over the course of 2013-2015, and it depicts the House-Monument of the Bulgarian Communist Party, contstructed in the late 70s. These eerie shots capture the dramatic remains of a collapsed civilisation, and they are #OnView at #PhillipsBSQ as part of our #Photographs public preview ahead of the auction this Thursday. Today would be a good day to see them, given that it is #Halloween and all.

Spooky scenes at #PhillipsBSQ as part of our #Photographs sale viewing, which definitely captures the #Halloween spirit. Fun fact: this eerie shot by #AlecSoth depicts #JohnnyCashs boyhood home in Dyess, Arkansas. It was taken in 2002. Stop by to see this piece and more from the artist until Thursday when this goes under the hammer.

We at Phillips are sorry youre not on the beach right now (if you are, you can skip this one). Instead of dwelling on the fact youre not sunbathing, come and have a coffee on us at #PhillipsBSQ and look at beautiful photographs of people doing what you cant. Were here all week ahead of the #Photographs auction on Thursday, and the coffee machine is too. Come by! #AlexPrager
