Candidate will provide system engineering expertise focused in avionics and vision based sensor systems in support of an Army Aviation S&T activity. The candidate will support traditional system engineering tasks including system requirements and architectural analysis. The candidate will work as part of a team developing model based system engineering (MBSE) products including systems models in SysML.
Systems Engineering opening to support the APEX 2 Lab within the Software and Integration Directorate (S3I), formerly the System Simulation & Development Directorate (SSDD), in its mission to provide simulation support to all branches of the US Armed services, multiple program offices and other Government agencies for the purpose of development and improvement of US and related non-US aviation and unmanned aviation systems.
This position will provide systems engineering support to the U.S. Army's Aircraft Notebook (ACN) system, the U.S. Army's Aviation Data Exploitation Capability (ADEC) system, and associated military automated information systems.
This position will involve evaluations of various software related products and covers assessments of software products through all phases of software development life cycle, including software specifications, design, coding, and testing.
Candidate will develop, research, design, implement, test, and evaluate software and systems, that interface with military systems to perform their missions. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to produce the required systems.
Candidate will manage the dynamic calendars of the Product Manager and Deputy to include numerous calendar events, unclassified and classified meetings, teleconferences and video teleconferences (VTCs).
Supporting BMDs, IMTP, MDA Engineering, Supporting program/budget planning, Justification document (R-Document), Paper Development Support, Analysis and tracking for Congressional RFIs/RTCs UFR development, justification, and tracking support, and other assigned tasks.
