The second polyp turned out to be cancerous, which led to the removal of two feet of the President's intestine during surgery a week later. After surgery, Reagan reportedly cracked, "Well, I'm glad that's all out," and later shared his experiences to help raise public awareness about colon cancer. (Image credit: New York Daily News)
