  • We are proud to have had a part in helping fund the new Central Coast Cyber Forensics Lab in San Luis Obispo. With this new lab, a shared space will be available for technicians, forensic investigators, and local students to help our local law enforcement continue keep the people of California safe.
  • I continued my statewide tour today with a meeting at the United Farm Workers Foundation Bakersfield office, where I met with labor leaders and farm workers. While in Bakersfield, I also met with farmers and local law enforcement agents to reinforce the California Department of Justice's commitment to the Central Valley and those who live and work here.
  • Everyday American Indians and Alaska Natives enrich our communities nationwide, which is why Im honored to recognize a Native American leader from my district with the 34th Congressional District Native American Heritage Month Leader Award: Chrissie Castro. Born and raised in Lincoln Heights and a member of the Navajo Nation, Chrissie is a small business owner and civic leader, working to advance American Indian and Alaska Native communities. Her leadership to advancing the Native American community should serve as a model and inspiration to us all. Congratulations, Chrissie!
