If you have respiratory problems such as unexplained shortness of breath, chronic cough or asthma, then assessing the level of inflammation in your airways is important for diagnostic and treatment decisions. An Exhaled Nitric Oxide Test measures allergic airway inflammation. This measure may help determine your best treatment plan, it can identify inflammation responsive to steroidal treatments, and help to improve asthma outcomes. Ask your doctor about an Exhaled Ntiric Oxide Test--FeNO, or call NWH Pulmonary Rehab for more information: (914) 458-8762
