Responsible for all steps of the ongoing Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) including but not limited to; requirements analysis, test planning, writing and reviewing test cases, executing test cases, and bug logging, tracking and closing.
Build and configure OS Security baselines, and make modifications following established processes. Configure, monitor, manage, upgrade, and provide 2-Factor authentication solutions to include RSA SecurID and smart cards.
Analyze and recommend tools to automate security, audit, compliance and configuration processes to meet NIST SP 800-53 requirements and reduce the burden of operational security processes and/or assist in the integration of tools selected by NIH/NIGMS.
The Oracle Database Developer will be the member of the project team who takes responsibility for designing, implementing and maintaining the Oracle database component of the system using best practices.

Ensure development of new systems as well as enhancements to existing systems are performed in a timely manner and according to project plans; support of this task may include analysis, design, programming, configuration management and accessibility and vulnerability remediation and compliance.
Prepare and document project plans for each task assignment including charters, overall project plans, requirements specifications, test plans, architectural and software development plans, and perform Project Management Office activities.
Responsible for programming and develop scripts to extract, transform and load clinical data; performing ETL programming between data sources and destination databases, warehouses, and repositories using open source ETL tools like: Pentaho.
Design and develop new applications, enhance and maintain existing applications using Microsoft .NET and other related technologies; design and develop web and service oriented applications for high performance and scalability.
Apply Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities; configure and add new services as necessary; monitor all issues and escalate issue to appropriate teams or coordinate to ensure effective resolution.
Evaluate and analyze the gathered information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
Create and maintain automated reporting that reconciles hardware assets across AD, Tenable, Big Fix, Antivirus, FireEye, Fore scout, Carbon Black and other tools; identify when assets are out of compliance or agents are not communicating, report to operations and follow thru to ensure timely remediation.
