The candidate will operate in a multi-disciplinary group of scientists and software developers who offer data analysis, software development and consultation services to the NIH research community in the areas of bioinformatics and computational biosciences.
Assist scientists to analyze, predict, simulate, and illustrate structural biology data using computational techniques; document andmanage collaborative and consultant assistance and training provided to researchers.
Find textual evidence relevant to user queries by analyzing PubMed and PMC documents as well as query logs; assist in developing methods and improvements to other text mining processes based on expertise.
Work with other developers and scientists to design, implement, document and maintain highly flexible database infrastructures and data processing system/tools capable of supporting both large and small applications on these platforms.
