To act as accountable manager for the Regulatory Authority Airworthiness and Quality Approvals ensuring compliance with the requirements set out in the relevant expositions are met including adherence by all Value Stream Personnel (including Support functions) to Value Stream Procedures.
Assists in the design and development of fixtures, special tools and other related devices for production which align with the manufacturing processes and plans in a collaborative environment with engineering and production.
Accountable to the Senior Vice President, Customer Support, the job holder has full responsibility for the development of in-service products and new services through a direct and matrix reporting structure.
Manage the SIOP process, and drive collaboration between Sales, Finance, Planning and Purchasing functions. Lead monthly demand review meetings, creating and presenting tracking/trending and reporting information.
Works closely with material planning to ensure stock-outs and over-stock conditions do not occur, and works with suppliers when needed to improve lead times or minimum purchase quantities to avoid these conditions.
Ability to analyze data from mechanical components to implement improvements to increase the reliability of the components, minimizing the assembly and test cycle time, document processes and transition operations from one plant to another when needed.
