Responsibilities to include system testing, troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance; development and review of technical documentation such as engineering drawings, ship change documents (SCDs), and test procedures; project planning to include budgeting and scheduling.
Provide direct support to the CANES Production, Modernization and Deployment APM through the Integrated Product Team (IPT) comprised of Systems Installations, In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), and Vendor Leadership to achieve the developmental stability, affordability, maintainability, installation, testing, and sustainment of the CANES Platform and legacy systems.
The candidate will be assigned as the Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES) Other Customer Funds (OCF) CG/LSD Technical Design Authority Systems Engineer in support of PEO C4I, PMW 160.
Coordination and assistance with SUPSHIP, Ships force, PEO, and SURFOR in fleet requirements not reflected in build requirements. This will require in-depth knowledge of build contract, specifications, NVR, HSNC rules and all fleet requirements.
