Tonight, McCann Worldgroup will welcome 120 best-in-class talent from the 4A's Multicultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP). MAIP is the industry's largest and longest-running national diversity internship program for entry-level talent. Since 1985, McCann has hired a total of 109 MAIP fellows. Vauxhall Motors consolidated its marketing services account with McCann Velocity UK to handle CRM, point of sale, print, aftersales and retail marketing. The appointment will also see McCann Velocity take on the fleet business. The new multi-disciplinary agency, McCann Velocity, has been created specifically to offer Vauxhall Motors a dedicated agency team that will offer a channel-neutral approach.

Momentum Worldwide copywriter and MAIP alum, Cesar Vallejo, believes for true diversity of thought you need true diversity of personnel. The workplace, particularly industries tasked with understanding mass marketplaces, should have teams representative of said marketplaces.
