The Electrical Technician must be able to contribute to development and production activities related to all systems with electrical content. This includes electronic prototype assembly, cable assembly, debug and troubleshooting, inspection, and operation of sophisticated test equipment.
Act as the point of contact with customers on assigned contracts and administer the contractual relationship between external customers and internal departments to build positive, supportive long term business relationships
Analyze work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, quality requirements, and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
This position entails breaking down customer engineering requirements per drawing to create manufacturing planning, bills of material (BOM), design tooling/fixtures, liaison with manufacturing personnel to improve processes, troubleshoot assembly and machining problems, and reduce the time to manufacture products with the implementation of time saving measures while ensuring the quality, integrity and certification properties of products manufactured is maintained or improved.
