The ideal candidate should have experience in defending transportation and product liability cases as well as have strong writing skills, a positive can-do attitude, the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, and the ability to work up a case from beginning to end.
We seek a candidate with excellent academic credentials, strong analytical and writing skills and experience handling all aspects of defense litigation practice including, but not limited to, conducting examinations under oath, preparation of pleadings and discovery associated with defending a first-party property case, attending hearings, mediations, and taking and defending depositions without extensive supervision.
Responsibilities will include excellent time management skills, attending depositions, court appearances, drafting/opposing motions, work-up of files, conducting investigation of claims and providing advice and feedback to clients.
The candidate must have experience in defending law enforcement agencies and handling Section 1983 claims as well as have strong writing skills, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
