Members of the Leidos team were proud to attend the Paralyzed Veterans of America Mission: ABLE Awards ceremony Oct. 7 in Washington, DC, an event that raised more than $900,000 to benefit Paralyzed Veterans programs and services, all of which are provided free to veterans. Leidos was a silver sponsor of the event, which honored organizations and individuals who have dedicated themselves to creating an America where our nations disabled heroes are able to fully live the lives they deserve and access what they need most: healthcare, benefits and jobs. Pictured from left are Leidos Healths Dean Thorsell, Constance Dyson, Robert Fecteau, Jason Hart, Ron Green, and Sean Murphy. In 2014, Leidos Health has donated more than $75,000 to PVA, and in August, was a proud sponsor of the PVAs National Veterans Wheelchair Games for the fourth consecutive year.

Last week, Leidos was a platinum sponsor of the National Veterans Wheelchair Games (NVWG) in Philadelphia, Pa., hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). PVA cares for the special needs of veterans who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction. For the fifth consecutive year, Leidos sponsored the weightlifting event, and during the week, had the privilege of supporting the 600 athletes and hundreds of volunteers who together, demonstrate that anything is possible. Great job, Team Leidos, and thank you to everyone who supported this years games!
