Maintain previously developed relationships and build new relationships with deal sources such as lenders, borrowers, and brokers. Manage analysts throughout the originations process. Source, evaluate, and screen new investment opportunities.
Manage all aspects of design and construction activities including, contract management, entitlements, architect selection, contractor and consultant solicitation, design and construction document review, and construction management and administration.
Responsible for providing hands-on technical due diligence and oversight for stadium/entertainment development project totaling $1B Euro. Coordinate with Lenders' representatives, including Lenders' independent engineer monitoring the Project.
Work with design and technical teams to shape and understand the design concepts. Present and gains approval of concepts to the client. Participate in industry organizations to increase firm's profile and develop marketing opportunities.
Assist in due diligence for new investments and selective debt fund projects where relevant. More frequent site visits at early stage of ownership as renovation scope is being perfected, capital programs are being implemented, and property manager transition is occurring.
Collaborates with the respective City Head in the deal-making process from beginning through value creation and realization. Participates in weekly regional meetings and/or conference calls, which include presentation and status of each pending project/transaction.
Work with existing borrowers to evaluate and underwrite new investment opportunities. Asset-level due diligence, sub-market analysis, and working with third-party construction inspector to evaluate construction budget as applicable.
Internalize and truly understand the firm's current design visions and strategies, and expand on those to guide a company-wide standard of excellence and innovation in interior spaces. Create persuasive presentations. use selection boards and other professional presentation materials to sell design visions to multiple stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal analytical / deal support professionals. Analyze and summarize leases, contracts, terms sheets, and other agreements necessary in real estate transactions if applicable. Interacts with property management, consultants, brokers, and other market participants to both gather and verify research, assumptions, and conclusions.
Work with team to track potential changes to project schedule and budget. Attend project meetings and hearings during permitting process and support senior staff with various follow-up work. Develop and maintain real estate proformas, financial models, budgets and relevant project reporting tools.
