Develop process chambers for vacuum drying ink, UV curing ink, cooling or heating substrates. Work with process development groups to help develop required hardware. Design and build prototype hardware as well as final product.
Working collaboratively with Product Management, Field Service, and Engineering, will create, modify, and maintain the inter-connection details of all equipment including print systems, robot transfer modules, pumps, chillers and other support equipment as required. Working independently to document all connections to customer facility drops and the distribution of gas and water throughout inkjet printer system.
Conduct relevant market/industry research, competitive intelligence, and gain customer roadmap insights that aid in the understanding of current and future product needs. Also capable of projecting product mix and margins based on industry trends.
Develop Print Head Assemblies to be used in an inkjet printer. This includes micron-level adjustments ink delivery system, electrical packaging, heat management, ergonomics. This is a high level position that requires working independently.
