The HR Manager is responsible for implementing, administering and maintaining the Human Resources function for the Spanish Fork, UT and Cedar City, UT locations; work with corporate staff, local managers and supervisors to insure the human resource asset for the company is treated with respect.
Led an operational department or function at a manufacturing site or significant operation within the facility; previous experience managing a group of employees or project team; possess a strong safety, operations and business background.
Manages and executes complex capital projects to meet cost, time and technical objectives. Plans and executes large scale projects or several small/medium projects at a timer; provides technical assistance to Manufacturing and Maintenance activities in a Paper Mill environment.
Provide counsel and guidance to the Production, Operation, and Sales teams regarding policies, procedures, and state and federal regulatory compliance requirements; develop, implement and coordinate Human Resource policies and programs; provide advice, assistance and follow up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
Perform all work in accordance with the plant safety rules and participate plant safety activities; be pro-active in identifying and performing tasks to maintain and improve safety, environmental performance.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and visitors; act as a safety advisor to management and consultant to the line organization; work closely with union leadership and all levels of management.
Coordinate with users to develop software solutions by analyzing information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes as well as investigating problem areas and following software development lifecycle.
Strong trouble shooting and decision making skills required; strong organizational skills and acumen for analytical tools to provide direction to Process Engineer; excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsible for project and time management for all aspects of individual audits including execution and documentation; serves as project lead or team member on financial, operational, compliance, and integrated audits at the corporate offices, paper mills, box plants, and distribution centers.
