Demonstrates ability to develop complete understanding of TJC business processes and IT systems. Maintains detailed knowledge about assigned applications as well as other TJC business processes and their interfaces to various applications.
Manages IT product delivery to deliver high quality software solutions by supporting the project and product delivery teams with tools, techniques, templates and standards. Develops, refines and implements these to support the Agile delivery methodology for developing and maintaining IT products.
Maintains active/current knowledge of heath care trends and content and develops solutions to assist health care organizations to understand and comply with federal regulations and processes regarding the Medicare certification program and Federal survey methodology.
Analyze and report metrics for succession planning, internal promotions, workforce planning, and performance management. Promote opportunities to use talent analytics to generate deeper insights and drive action in critical areas.
Actively contributes to the successful achievement of the program's performance objectives by achieving or exceeding new business (applications) targets, and effectively collaborating with colleagues across the Division and the Enterprise.
Initiate contact and follow-up with Ambulatory system prospects, government agencies, or corporate customers not yet accredited or certified by the Joint Commission through the established sales cycle in order to close initial customer sales.
Participate in project planning by forecasting estimates for completion of assignments. Ensures all deadlines and commitments are met by keeping management informed of the status related to tasks, issues, and deadlines.
The Associate Director combines systems analysis skills with in-depth general and program-specific standards knowledge of Joint Commission and Medicare requirements, professional standards or practice and federal and state law and regulation to evaluate health care organizations' compliance and ability to provide high quality, safe patient care.
Coordinates, compiles, analyzes and communicates the results of development activities completed by advisory groups and other work groups, including field reviews and/or field engagements and testing and evaluation activities.
