Provides guidance and direction for all of the following activities: Analysis of coverage issues and taking appropriate action; Analysis of the facts and allegations to determine the extent of liability; Evaluation of causation and damages to determine potential exposure; Setting appropriate reserves to reflect probable outcome.
The Assistant Director of Business Analysis and Quality Assurance will manage the business relationship, act as liaison to, and advocate for, the business unit from the IT organization. An Assistant Director of BA and QA will manage and execute IT related governance for the business unit, demand planning, technology project implementations and related business process re-engineering. This role will also be responsible for managing dedicated business unit IT resources and overseeing and leading software quality assurance activities.
Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of data in the accounting system, will assist management and others in making educated economic decisions about the Company's future, and will safeguard operations by ensuring the company's financial filing compliance requirements are met in each state.
Beginner to intermediate level knowledge of ISO-oriented P&C products and technology, the insurance industry, statistical reporting, related legislation and the business operation practices and procedures.
