Work with IC design, CAD, MEMS design, digital design, and layout design engineering teams in San Jose and in multiple world-wide locations to jointly develop innovative ICs for ultrasonic fingerprint sensors.
The role is to own the ASIC implementation of complex signal processing and mathematics intensive blocks; using his/her knowledge and experience of area, power and performance optimizations and trade-offs in implementing functions such as interpolators, FIR/IIR filters, decimators, data rate converters etc.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development of firmware and software modules on different embedded platforms and going through the entire product and application release cycle in close collaboration with other technical teams.
Perform reliability testing and data analysis based on company product life cycle model , which includes product design validation, product qualification, and production launch, forthe consumer sensor products.
Coordinate and conduct reliability experiment to support product development for multiple MEMS sensors, including Microphone, fingerprint, pressure sensor, from the early design stage to volume production. Work with cross-functional teams.
Define, create and develop validation environments and test suites to characterize analog IP and sensor end-to-end performance/functionality to spec; develop scripts to automate measurement of analog circuits & sensor end-to-end performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the HW through the entire HW development process in close collaboration with other technical teams; analyzes hardware requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Perform system level, sub-system level, and block level IC design activities including circuit architecture exploration, circuit design, schematic capture, circuit and sub-system simulation, chip floor-planning, and layout direction.
