Propose solutions to customers directly using phone presentation skills and written proposals sent via email, focusing on upselling value add IP and cloud based solutions with OU and fulltime customers.
Partner with peers cross-functionally to develop and maintain the annual budget and five-year long-range plan both of which incorporate the financial impacts of the Company's strategies and initiatives.
Working primarily in a lab environment and under the guidance of more senior engineers, is responsible for testing and evaluating the latest products and/or code releases from key OEM vendors for use within Intelsat's satellite and terrestrial networks.
Must have knowledge of and experience with Industry best practices for network engineering and operations, creating robust service implementation strategies and operating network infrastructure for a Service Provider Network.
Advanced knowledge of digital network communications and RF signal theory; digital satellite network architectures; IP networking and at least basic knowledge of broadcast video distribution technologies.
Develop and implement best-in-class procurement processes to efficiently deliver on sourcing activity and procurement services, build competitively advantaged knowledge bases and reduce transactional support costs across the organization.
Provide operational service support and escalation for the NOC, regional global NOCs and its customers, including the satellite fleet, teleports and terrestrial networks carrying commercial traffic, corporate enterprise and satellite flight operations.
Assist MSD in developing, implementing, and maintaining Inside Sales policies and procedures. Develop and recommend changes to processes and systems to increase the accuracy and effectiveness of the Inside Sales function.
