    Last week Steve Hartig, Vice President of Technology Development for ICM, (pictured at far left) was part of a panel discussing the future of next generation biofuels at the Ethanol Summit of the Americas. The event was held in Houston, Texas, sponsored by the U.S. Grains Council (USGC), Growth Energy, the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) and the Iowa Corn Promotion Board. Mr. Hartig highlighted ICMs Gen 1.5 Grain Fiber to Cellulosic Ethanol Technology. Gen 1.5 is a cost-effective technology that integrates a process for converting corn fiber to cellulosic ethanol into existing plant capacity.     Today was the last day of the Ethanol Summit of the Americas in #Houston, Texas. Ellie Antova, Global Business Development, and Sequius De La Torre, International Regional Associate, attended the first edition of this conference organized by the U.S. Grains Council #USGC. The two-day conference was attended by representatives from 19 countries in the Western Hemisphere. It included technical presentations on ethanol-related policies and infrastructure.
