The sales engineer position sells friction (brake) related products using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation.
Perform in-depth underwriting and financial evaluation of new business transactions within designated single signature authority on a timely basis, with a specific focus on trade finance, factoring, ABL, and equipment finance transactions.
Drives the sales pursuit process; develops new business from customers and expands business with existing client relationships; sees that sales strategies/plans are consistent with company's long-range strategic objectives.
This role supports new product development (DFM & Mechanical design), ensures continuous process improvement (including new processes and equipment needed), develops and documents production processes, identifies and resolves manufacturing issues via a high degree of problem-solving, and supports all manufacturing efforts to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Manage the development process to ensure that design standards are being followed, application requirements are fully implemented, technologies are efficiently and correctly implemented and a high level of maintainability and extensibility is achieved.
Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver; provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
This leader will participate in analytical sales pursuits (proposal creation, estimation, presentations, etc.), in strategic analytical assessments, and in developing and delivering analytical solutions with a global delivery team.
