Develop, articulate and promote a dynamic and innovative organizational vision and strategy to achieve excellence for the entire enterprise; create and implement a long-range financial resource development plan and near-term fundraising campaign, and conduct major gift fundraising; empower the Executive Director of UCSD company to do the same at UCSD.
Work with students and staff to implement a wide range of programs, including Shabbat and holiday celebrations, social opportunities, social justice projects and Jewish learning opportunities; Serve as an advisor for our various Hillel communities such as company's E-Board.
Lead in financial resource development and cultivation of stakeholders, including board, lay leaders and local community members and agencies; recruit, hire, train, develop and nurture staff, student interns and student leadership by effectively managing a team, providing advancement opportunities.
Collaborate across the organization to brainstorm possibilities and provide insight into technical capabilities to identify solutions or process improvements; critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs, and reconcile conflicts.
Work with students to grow and enhance sustainable communities; Serve as an advisor for our various Hillel communities such as: the Jewish Student Union (the Hillel JUC Pitt Board), Challah for Hunger, 21+, Social Justice Lunch and Learns, LGBTQIA, Big/Little, etc.
Providing high quality reporting, analysis and guidance to the organization's Board of Directors, Board committees (including for Finance, Audit, Investment and Pension), and supporting reporting and financial analysis for the organization's programs and program funders.
