Provides support for student-initiated programs, empowering students and providing them with tools and resources necessary to create innovative programming that energizes and supports Jewish life on campus.
Responsible for the oversight, management, and strategic direction of all donor service activities within the department and across the organization, working in partnership with the Fiscal, Technology Operations, and Digital Marketing teams.
Partner with the Executive Director, Development Consultant, and lay leadership to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of current and future donors throughout Texas (including Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio), and in other US cities as appropriate. This position includes significant regional travel.
The role requires a high-energy approach with excellent customer support skills, communication skills, as well as organizational and leadership skills. The candidate should also have experience with researching and building digital solutions and the ability to serve as a liaison with other departments at Hillel International in order to help meet their technology needs.
Plans, organizes and directs programs to secure major gifts by pursuing the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of private support from individuals and other constituencies.
The Executive Director will build the strategy for engaging all Jewish students on campus and support a pluralistic, dynamic community. Under your leadership, UHart Hillel will develop as a Hillel of excellence in partnership with all its key stakeholders. You'll chart a path and develop key resources to help students thrive.
