Win Bell, CEO of Ed Bell Construction in Dallas, had an integral part in helping HCSS continue volunteer relief efforts in the community following Hurricane Harvey. Days after the hurricane hit and caused catastrophic flooding across the Greater Houston area, HCSS was minutes away from shutting down our volunteer efforts due to a lack of supplies. But just minutes before we called it quits, a semi-truck owned by Ed Bell Construction showed up with the exact supplies we needed to keep our efforts moving forward. Bell reduced his own companys profits by taking a truck and driver out of commission in order to send it from Dallas to Houston even while the flooding was still occurring. Thanks in no small part to his generosity, we have been able to help 113 families so far and saved our community more than $2.8 million. Thank you to Win Bell and all of Ed Bell Construction for being one of our Harvey Heroes. #HCSSHarvey #HarveyHeroes
